Corrie Miller

CM_2.jpg

Corrie Miller is dedicated to conserving the natural world which feeds her soul and she sees as the fabric of our human communities.

Corrie studied ecology at Vanderbilt University (receiving E.O. Wilson’s “Sociobiology” as the first-ever gift from a professor!), did field work and environmental education across the US, and earned a masters degree from UVM’s Field Naturalist program. For 15 years, Corrie has led programs and organizations, bringing people together to strategically plan and achieve meaningful conservation outcomes. Working as Director at Friends of the Mad River, Corrie is most inspired building coalitions for vital change. She lives in Fayston, serves on the Conservation Commission, has a weakness for bread and sugar, is prone to hysterics of laughter, and most enjoys time outside.
