Katie Sullivan

Katie is a 7th generation Vermonter and lives up in the Moretown neighborhood of Waitsfield with her husband Michael and their dog, Muddy. Katie has been teaching third and fourth grade at The Warren School in Warren, VT for 30 years. She studied environmental education at Penn State University and worked as a teacher/naturalist before becoming a classroom teacher. She is a member of the Friends of the Mad River board of directors. She received an EPA environmental educator award in 1999 and is the 2007 Vermont Teacher of the Year.
