Maggie Citarella

Raised in New York’s Hudson Valley, Maggie Citarella is an environmental professional and ISA certified arborist living in Charlotte with her husband, two dogs, and cat. With several years of experience in conservation, parks, and community forestry, Maggie enjoys getting outside and sharing her love of nature! She received an M.S. degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from Clemson University and completed the 2020-2021 Vermont Master Naturalist Program. She is currently the Outreach Assistance Specialist for the Environmental Assistance Office within the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation. Maggie also serves as the Chair of the Charlotte Conservation Commission. In her free time, she likes to paddle, bike, cross-country ski, and play board games. As a Boston University alumna, she is excited to be back in New England. Maggie built the Vermont Alliance for Half-Earth website and looks forward to participating in future Alliance efforts.
