Kari Dolan

Kari Dolan’s love of woods, water and community drew her to the Green Mountains of Vermont almost 30 years ago. Kari is a state legislator, first elected in 2018, and also works as special project director at the VT Department of Environmental Conservation when not in the legislative session. Kari was a former member of the Waitsfield Select Board, the Mad River Valley Planning District, Friends of the Mad River and the Waitsfield Planning Commission. Kari has worked for over 25 years in water resources management which included former manager for the State Clean Water Initiative Program, administrator for the Clean Water Fund and State Floodplain/National Flood Insurance Program Coordinator. On her free time, Kari ties to squeeze in as much hiking, skiing, paddling, or biking as she can. Kari and her husband, Chach Curtis live in Waitsfield, and raised two girls, Lainey and Ellie.
